Who We Are

 MISSION STATEMENT

Lightshine Community Center is a 501(3)(c)  private operating foundation created for the purpose of serving the underserved in Clermont County. We address food insecurity,  provide support and discipleship to those who walk through our doors. We will seek to empower them to live in abundance.

VISION STATEMENT

Lightshine Community Center will fulfil our mission by collaborating with community agencies, ministries and other businesses by creating a hub for them to provide services in the Community Center space. This will break down the transportation barrier and provide our neighbors with direct access to mental health services, health checks, GED classes, nutritional resources, and life skills using best practices and Christian values to achieve our mission.

We envision a network of ‘Along-Siders’. These are trained volunteers from our local churches who  will walk through life with our neighbors who do not know what they do not know unless someone takes the time to model life skills for them.
